A food diary you talk to
“Had scrambled eggs and a greek yogurt for breakfast” is a complete log entry. Moraine extracts the foods, portions and macros, writes them to your journal, and shows you its work every time.
The write-trail: no silent edits
Most chat assistants say “Got it!” and you have to take their word for it. In Moraine, every write to your record appears as a chip under the reply (2 foods added, 1 exercise updated, 1 food removed), and hovering a chip shows the exact lines that were written, including old → new values on corrections.

Say it however it comes out
Meals, sleep, workouts, water, skipped meals, goals, even your kitchen equipment. One message can carry several of them, and each lands in the right place.
- 02
Correct it like you'd correct a person
“Actually it was two pieces” updates the same entry, and the chip shows 1 piece → 2 pieces. “Scratch that, remove the eggs” removes it. If it can't find what you meant, it says so instead of guessing.

Watch your day fill in
Your daily rings and cards update live as you chat — calories against your target, protein, hydration, sleep.
Targets it can explain
Ask for nutrition goals and a short guided interview computes evidence-based targets: the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for your base metabolism, adjusted for activity and your goal, with sensible calorie floors. It proposes the numbers with its reasoning and saves them only when you agree. From then on, your rings fill against your own targets.
- Extraction is AI, and once in a while it will mishear you. That is why the chips exist: you see every write and can correct it in one sentence.
- The chat clears after 7 days by design. It is a scratchpad; your journal is the permanent record.
- Voice input is not built yet. Typing (or the photo button) is the way in today.
