The half of your record you never have to type
Your watch already knows how you slept and how far you walked. The Moraine mobile app reads Apple Health on iPhone and Health Connect on Android, so sleep, heart data, steps, workouts and weight arrive in your journal on their own — and the coach reads the whole picture.
How importing works
- 01
Connect once, with a real permission sheet
You tap connect, your phone shows the standard Apple Health / Health Connect permission screen, and you choose exactly what Moraine may read. It starts with a 90-day backfill so your trends aren't born empty.
- 02
It syncs itself
Every time you open the app, new data flows in quietly: sleep with stages, HRV and resting heart rate, blood oxygen and respiratory rate where your device provides them, steps, workouts with duration, hydration and weight.
- 03
Your logs always win
The merge rule is strict and simple: imports only fill gaps. Anything you logged yourself — in chat, by photo, in a form — is untouchable by imports. Edit an imported value and it becomes yours, permanently fenced off. Delete an imported item and it stays deleted; the importer won't sneak it back.
- 04
Disconnect without losing anything
Turning sync off stops future imports; everything already in your journal stays yours. No import ever involves the AI — data lands in your record the same way a manual entry does.
- Health sync lives in the Moraine mobile app for iPhone and Android — phone health data is unreadable from a web browser, by platform design. The apps are in the final stretch to the App Store and Play Store; on the web today you get chat, photo logging, trends and Pulse.
- Some metrics depend on your hardware — no wearable, no HRV; Health Connect has no walking-heart-rate equivalent.
